Our beef is raised naturally on free-range pasture.

Gippsland Lean Beef is guaranteed fresh. It is processed, packed on trays and is then snap fozen by our Butcher in Yarragon

Ethical and Humane

Gippsland Lean Beef steers are direct from our farms or when demand exceeds supply, sourced from accredited neighbouring farms in Yarram and Jack River.

They are not sourced through saleyards where they could have originated from any part of the East Coast of Australia from North Qld to Victoria.

They are not transported for, possibly, days on big trucks and crowded in with no food or water.

They are always transported calmly by local carriers, who understand our cattle and know how to treat them in a humane way, free of any stresses.

They are not fattened like in feedlots, (the equivalent of battery hens for cattle) but naturally in a free range environment on pasture without the use of hormones, antibiotics and rumen manipulators.

We use real Bulls in our breeding program - Not artificial insemination.

Our Cattle are raised naturally on milk and pasture - like nature intended.
